Lost & Found – A zip drive was left in room 4 today and may be claimed in the office.
Banned Books Week - Diary of Anne Frank…Twilight….Captain Underpants…. Every year there are hundreds of attempts to remove books from schools and libraries. Celebrate YOUR freedom to read and right to choose your book during Banned Books Week this week. For more information or to check out a book, stop in the LMC.
Class Shirts – Senior powder puff shirts have arrived.
Juniors T-shirts can be picked up after school in room 68. There are still some t-shirts left that can be purchased for $10.00.
Sophomores can pick up their class t-shirts before school and during their lunch hours thru Friday.
Freshmen class t-shirts can be picked up and purchased in room 13!
Hallway decorating for seniors is tonight from 7-midnight. If you have supplies let Mark Nesbitt know. All seniors will be treated to a free doughnut between 7:10 and 7:45 Friday morning.
Meetings, announcements, etc.: (new today in italics)
Today – All junior and senior Spanish students that are helping with next Monday’s Sister Cities day at the zoo need to attend a short orientation, either today after school, or tomorrow morning at 7:35. Both meetings will be held in Senora Lau’s room 48.
Tomorrow – Hockey user fees must be paid to Mr. Nicksic.
Sign up during lunch hours for the blood drive to be held next Wednesday.
Sunday – Science Olympiad will meet Sunday from 2-4:00.
Next Week – A reception for foreign exchange students and sister city returnees will be held at the MACCI office at 700 South Central on Monday from 3:45-5:00. All interested students and adults are welcome.
October 23rd is Make A Difference Day. Come to the Marshfield Senior Center at 111 South Maple Ave and rake leaves for those who are unable to do so themselves. Registration forms are in the main office.
