Lost & Found – A retainer was left in the commons and may be claimed in the office.

 

Others – Anyone wishing to submit a design for the Junior class t-shirt should turn their design in to room 28, Mrs. Veer’s classroom.

 

WANTED – adventurous sophomores interested in spending their entire junior year in a foreign country.  The Marshfield Rotary is currently recruiting students to sponsor during the 2010-11 school year.  You must be in the top half of your class and turn 16 by next August.  Application packets are available in the counseling office and due by Friday, October 1.  See Mr. Roeglin if you have questions.

 

Monday – Today’s Arts In Education Week trivia contest question is – Name any 3 disciplines considered by Congressional Resolution to fit an Arts Education curriculum and essential to a balanced education.  Check the hall posters for the answer, and submit your signed response to Mrs. Gorke in Room 3 to be entered for a prize in a drawing.

Seniors, shirt orders need to be turned in to Mrs. Patterson in Room 67 today.

 

Sign up for powder puff 2010 will be today in Mr. Patterson’s room.  The first 25 senior girls to sign up will be the 25 girls playing.

 

Spanish Honor Society officers will meet today at 3:05 in room 63.

 

The student council elections committee will meeting at 3:30 in the commons. 

 

Tuesday – A rep from the NAVY will be in the commons at lunch time on Tuesday.

 

The next French Club meeting is Tuesday at 3:05 in room 47 to discuss homecoming. Bring ideas.

 

Wednesday – Freshmen: please turn in t-shirt order forms and payment to Miss Osuldsen in Room 13 by 3:15 on Wednesday. Make sure you include your size on the order form!

 

The first FCCLA meeting of the year will be in the Foods Lab Wednesday right after school.  Come and enjoy a snack and learn more about this organization.  If you cannot attend, but want more information, please see Mrs. MacArthur.

The first FBLA meeting of the year will be Wednesday morning at 7:15 in Room 70. 

Students if you are good at math and science, then you should check out TEAMS.  Find out more at our first TEAMS meeting Wednesday morning at 7:15 in room 8.  See Mrs. Peters or Mrs. Dopp is you cannot attend.

 

Science Olympiad will kick off with the first meeting of the year Wednesday at 3:00 in room 10-11. 

 

Thursday – There will be a meeting for all students interested in joining HOSA on Thursday before school at 7:30 in Room 77.   Students wishing to join HOSA can pick up membership forms in Mrs. Hunsader’s computer lab in room 66.  All students turning in their completed membership form and dues by September 30 will be entered in a drawing to win a jump drive.

 

FridayJuniors and Seniors will have the opportunity to attend the Wisconsin Education Fair next Friday morning.  Over 100 colleges and technical colleges will be at Midstate Tech in Wisconsin Rapids to speak with high school students.  The bus fee is $4.00.  Pick up a permission form in the Counseling Office. 

 

Anyone with ideas for the sophomore class t-shirt please turn in your designs to room 28 by Friday at 3:00.
