Attention football players – Coach Goettl needs to know if you plan on attending the football banquet on Sunday at 5:00.  Tell him if you are attending and how many are coming so food can be ordered.  Coach Goettl must know by 11:00 tomorrow.

 

Today – Battle of the Books will meet at 3:10 in the LMC. 

 

Today is the last day to vote on Project Innovate.  Marshfield is currently in second place and needs 277 votes to win the $30,000.  Go to the student tab on the Marshfield District website and vote tonight.   Also click on the link for Facebook and share this with your friends and family.  You may vote once per email address.

 

There will be no dance team practice tonight as hockey/pep band times have changed.  If you have any questions please see Jenna or Rachel.

 

Wednesday – Please wear your “Drop it Like its Hot” t-shirts tomorrow.

 

Attention FFA members – a reminder that fruit will be available to be picked up at 11:00.  You need to make arrangements to pick your fruit up by 5:00 Wednesday.  Any questions see Mr. Zee or Mr. Heeg.

Strike for all cast and crew members will continue this afternoon at 3:00.  Everyone who wishes to order a t-shirt and DVD of the show should do that at strike today or tomorrow.  Tomorrow is the deadline for ordering.  Everyone needs to pay user fees and club dues as well.

 

A brief meeting for the Dungeons and Dragons Club will be today at 3:05 in room 21.

 

Science Olympiad will meet tonight from 6-8:00.

 

SOAP – Science Olympiad Anatomy & Physiology team will meet tonight from 7-8:00.

Attention students in grades 10, 11, and 12 – the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery will be given here on December 14th.  This test is useful for exploring the range of your talents and possible future careers.  There is no fee to take this test and no obligation to join the military.  If you would like to take the test, sign up in guidance.  We will take the first 35 students to sign up.  Deadline to sign up is December 7th.

Arsenic and Old Lace will again be shown Friday and Saturday evenings.  Tickets are on sale in the main office today and tomorrow.  Cost of all reserved seats is $8.00.

TomorrowSeniors are reminded the representative from Jostens will be in the commons from 7:30 to 1:30 tomorrow for cap and gown orders.  A $30 deposit is required and checks should be made payable to Jostens.  The remainder of your payment will be made at delivery in April. You may bring either of the order forms -- the one page Tiger specials or the full Jostens order form. If you have any questions, the rep will assist you in completing the forms.

The ROTO Club is selling baked potato soup for $3.00 during all lunch periods tomorrow outside of room 77 for staff and students.

 

Attention eligible workers 16 and up – Figis will be in the lunchroom tomorrow looking for seasonal help.  Stop by if you need a job.

Today – Marshfield High School has been entered into a contest presented by Cellcom for a chance to win $30,000 in technology.  We are currently in first place, but not by many votes, so please go to the students’ section of the Marshfield School District webpage and look for Project Innovate to enter your vote.

 

There will be a brief but important meeting of all cast and running crew members of Arsenic and Old Lace at 3:10 today in the auditorium.

 

Junior class will meet in room 71 after school or see Ms. Mahoney or Ms. Parsons.

 

Student council members attending the fieldtrip to UWSP tonight will meet after school in room 8.

 

FFA members are reminded fruit order forms with the tally is due today.

Pre-sale of football tickets and fan bus are on sale in the office until Friday noon.  Tickets for the game are $4.00 and the bus is $3.00.  The bus will leave the circle drive at 12:45 Saturday. 

Four HOSA members need to select their team event.  Jose, Hernandez, Jenny Krokstrom, Susan Lou and Erin Lake see Ms. LaBlanc before school ASAP or an event will be selected for you.

 

Today – Wrestlers skin fold/hydration test is after school today in the boys’ locker room.

Skills USA highway cleanup is at 3:10.  Meet in room 82.

Wednesday – There will be no oral announcements tomorrow morning due to testing.

Tomorrow seniors will report to the field house at the beginning of first hour and will be released for the day at 12:30.  Early bird will NOT meet.  You will have many events during this time, some of which are:  Jostens graduation information, select speakers, project graduation information, and class photo. 

The annual senior class group photo will be taken tomorrow.  Order forms and instructions are available from your English teacher and in room 67.  Seniors you must bring the order form and money with you to the field house tomorrow morning.  This will be the ONLY time and place to order.
