Kallie Mayer, Alex Heiting, Amanda Merrill, and Abby Gisvold please come to room 67.

Band members are asked to check the doors outside the band room before leaving school today.

 

Practice – Junior powder puff practice is at 6:00 PM Wednesday behind senior high.

Senior powder puff practices will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:30 at Griese Park and next week they will be Monday and Tuesday at 6:30 at Griese Park.

 

Auditions – Auditions for the fall drama production “Arsenic and Old Lace” will be held in the auditorium at 7 PM Wednesday and Thursday.  There are 11 roles and 12 walk on bit parts.  Everyone in invited to try out.  Be prepared to fill out a conflict sheet for the next 2 months.

 

TodaySpanish Honor Society will meet at 3:05 today in room 63.

Those attending the Education Fair Friday must pay $4.00 and turn in permission slips to the counseling office today.

 

TuesdaySocial committee will meet tomorrow morning in the commons to discuss homecoming.

Judiciary committee of student council will meet tomorrow morning at 7:15 in the commons.

A rep from Northwestern College of St. Paul MN will be in the guidance resource center at 12:30.

 

WednesdayGreen Team will meet Wednesday morning at 7:15 in room 8.

Science Olympians are to turn in their info sheet to Mrs. Dopp in room 8 by Wednesday.

FFA officers will have a meeting before school Wednesday starting at 7:10.

Mock Trial Team will have informational meetings this week Wednesday and next week Wednesday at 3:00 in room 23.

 

Thursday – Key Club will meet Thursday after school in room 29.  We will be electing a new secretary.

The boys’ hockey team will have an informational meeting with Coach Hanke on Thursday at 7:15 AM in the study hall.

 

This Week – Student council members can earn minutes by making posters for the dance and spirit week.  Directions and sign ups are in Mrs. Veer’s room 28.

All students wishing to join HOSA - membership forms may be picked up and turned in to Mrs. Hunsader in the computer lab room 66.  All members turning their forms and dues in to Mrs. Hunsader by 3:00 this Friday will be entered in a drawing to win a jump drive.

 

T-shirts – Junior's today is the last day to pay $15.00 for your powder puff shirt.  Money may be turned in to room 64. 

Sophomore t-shirts can be ordered for $10.00 this week during lunch hours or sign up in room 66.  Include payment!

 

Fundraising – Any science student who did not bring in their fund raiser order form should do so tomorrow.  If you want your commission and a chance to get in the drawing for cash prizes, bring your order form in on Tuesday!

 

JOSTENS Class Rings – A rep from Jostens will be here Tuesday and Wednesday during the lunch hours and also Tuesday evening from 5:00-8:00 to help with class ring orders.  Remember a $50.00 deposit is required. 

 

Trivia – The answer to last Friday’s Arts in Education Week trivia contest is – the non-profit arts and culture industry generates $166.2 billion in economic activity every year.  Clearly, involvement in the arts pays off.     

 

Spirit Week – Spirit week starts Friday with dress up day, Monday is twin day, Tuesday is nerd day, Wednesday is hunter/redneck day, Thursday is movie character day and Friday will be color day.

 

Sunday – Science Olympiad will meet Sunday from 2-4 PM. Check out the display case outside room 8 for important information.
