Others – Yearbook orders will be filled out this week. We have been chosen to participate in a new option, Personal Yearbook Pages. This lets you design four unique pages with your own photos, artwork and text. You can create the pages on your own or invite friends to help. The Personal Yearbook Pages experience begins by simply logging on to www.yearbookyourself.com and uploading all of your favorite pictures taken throughout the year whether it is school shots or moments captured from your free time. Photos can even be downloaded from your Facebook or Flickr account. Register at yearbookyourself.com by October 15 and you will receive a free phone skin from mytego.com.
The answer to yesterday’s Arts in Education Week trivia contest is – Dance, Music, Theatre, Media Arts, Literature, Design, and Visual Arts are all considered Arts disciplines and essential to a balanced education. Yesterday’s winner is Cole Wesolowski. Please come to Room 3 to claim your prize. Today’s question is – What musical instrument did Albert Einstein play? Check the hall posters for the answer, and submit your signed response to Mrs. Gorke in Room. 3.
MC’s are needed for both pep fest and homecoming coronation. Anyone interested in MC-ing or has ideas for pep fest please talk to Katie Urquhart or Taylor Moon.

WANTED – adventurous sophomores interested in spending their entire junior year in a foreign country. The Marshfield Rotary is currently recruiting students to sponsor during the 2010-11 school year. You must be in the top half of your class and turn 16 by next August. Application packets are available in the counseling office and due by Friday, October 1st. See Mr. Roeglin if you have questions.
Today – French club will meet at 3:05 in room 47 to discuss homecoming. Bring your ideas.
Wednesday – Keel will be here tomorrow and Thursday for school photos. Extra forms are available in Room 67 and the office; checks should be made out to John H Keel. Seniors are welcome to have a photo taken for the yearbook at this time also. Just stop in the auditorium anytime.
French Honor Society officer elections will be tomorrow in room 47 at 3:05.
Attentions Junior Class – anyone interested in voting on homecoming t-shirt designs and beginning plans for prom and fundraising come meet after school tomorrow in room 71, or see Ms. Parsons or Ms. Mahoney.
Any seniors that want to be on the homecoming ballot may sign up Wednesday and Thursday during their lunch hour in the commons. Voting will take place on Friday and Monday.
A rep from the Army will be in the commons at lunch time tomorrow.
The first TEAMS meeting is tomorrow morning at 7:15 in room 8. See Mrs. Peters or Mrs. Dopp if you cannot attend.
The first FBLA meeting of the year will be tomorrow morning at 7:15 in room 70.
Science Olympiad will kick off with the first meeting of the year tomorrow at 3:00 in room 10-11.
The first FCCLA meeting will be in the Foods Lab tomorrow right after school. See Mrs. MacArthur for more info.
Freshmen please turn in t-shirt order forms with your size and payment to Miss Osuldsen in room 13 by 3:15 TOMORROW.
Thursday – There will be a meeting of the school paper, The Profile, Thursday morning at 7:15 in room 67. Everyone is welcome to attend. Articles will be handed out. See Dana Speth if you cannot attend.
There will be a meeting for all students interested in joining HOSA Thursday before school at 7:30 in room 77.
Friday – Anyone wishing to submit a design for the sophomore or junior class t-shirt should turn their design in to Mrs. Veer’s room 28 by Friday at 3:00.
Next Week – Juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to attend the WI Education Fair next Friday morning. Over 100 colleges and technical colleges will be at Mid-State Tech in WI Rapids to speak with high school students. The bus fee is $4.00. Pick up a permission form in the counseling office.
