NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention seniors – applications for the Kohl Excellence Scholarship are now available in the guidance office.  This scholarship is for seniors who have shown leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement.

 

Attention all students – tomorrow is dress up day, the start of Spirit Week!

 

Tennis players' cookie dough will be delivered on Friday afternoon. Please come to Mr. Jordan's room after school to pick it up.

 

 

Meetings, etc.:

TODAY - There will be a German Club officers meeting today after school in the German room.

Film guild will meet today at 3:00 in room 22

There will be a Skills USA meeting today at 3:05

 

TOMORROW - A rep from UW Stevens Point will be in the guidance resource center at 9:00 tomorrow

All junior class officers meet in room 43 tomorrow morning before school.

Student council will meet tomorrow first hour in the auditorium. 

Youth Senate Scholarship applications are due first hour

There will be a german club meeting after school tomorrow in the german room.  All german students         are welcome to attend.

 

OTHERS - An informational meeting for sophomore or junior students interested in the AFS Summer Abroad scholarship will be held at 3:30 in Room 18 on October 7th.  Students interested in the AFS scholarship are encouraged to attend the meeting with a parent.  See Mr Elmhorst in Room 18A for more information.

 

 

OLD NEWS:

Student photos can be picked up in Room 67. Retakes will be tomorrow in the commons from 8:00 to 1:18.  All students and staff who missed pictures in September need to have them taken tomorrow.  If you are having retakes, make sure you bring your entire picture packet and 50% of the original price.

If you have any questions see Mrs. Patterson in Room 67.

 

Order forms for pictures at the homecoming dance can be picked up in room 14.

 

The homecoming dance will be held Saturday, October 11th from 8 PM to midnight.  The theme is Born to be Wild.  The admission to the dance is $8 per individual and $15 per couple.  One ID will cover two people.  Coronation will be at 9 PM and tickets are $2 advanced seating.

 

READ NOW & THEN - Join the nation on Saturday, October 25 in a special day to Make a Difference! Participate in the 7th annual Marshfield Area Make A Difference Day celebration. Come together to rake leaves for those who are unable to do so themselves.  You can make a connection with family, friends, co-workers and neighbors you serve.  Volunteers will gather at the Marshfield Senior Center, 111 S. Maple Ave., at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, October 25 for registration and instructions before being sent on to their volunteer sites.  Call 384-9992 to sign up or pick up registration forms in the office.  Volunteers must provide their own rake, gloves and transportation to and from volunteer sites and back home.
