NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Students who registered for Career View at Mid-State Technical College tomorrow morning are reminded to get on the bus in front of the commons by 7:45 a.m. Lunch will be provided. The bus will return to Marshfield High School by 2:45 p.m.

 

Miss Goettl needs to see Renee Binder and Megan Mundt in Room 71 before leaving school today.

 

A gold ruby ring has been lost; if anyone has found it please return it to the office today.

 

The Junior powder puff  t-shirts are in and may be picked up in room 65 

 

 

Meetings, etc.:

TODAY - An informational meeting for students interested in the 2009 AFS summer abroad program will be from 3:15 – 4:00 in Room 18

Rehearsal this evening is for the full cast at 7:00 in the orchestra room

 

TOMORROW – Skills USA highway clean up

Mock trial will meet after school in room 10-11.  If you cannot attend, please contact Mrs. Karen Friedrichsen.

 

OTHERS – Junior class t-shirts are on sale all week for $12.00 during the lunch hours.  Be sure to buy yours before Friday.  All money raised will go toward the prom fund. 

 

Attention Science Department Fund raiser participants:  Your orders will be available for pickup on Friday after school at the North Commons doors.  Any products not picked up will be returned and all prizes and awards you may have won will be forfeited. 

 

Attention juniors and seniors – the PSAT test will be given Wednesday, October 15th.  Cost is $13.00.  Sign up in the guidance office.  Make checks out to MHS.  Deadline to sign up is this Friday.

 

Spirit week – tomorrow is twin day; Thursday is animal print day or tiger apparel; and Friday is color day.

 

Senior apparel can be picked up in room 67.

 

Order forms for pictures at the homecoming dance can be picked up in room 14.  The homecoming dance is Saturday from 8 PM to midnight with coronation at 9 PM.  Admission is $8 per individual and $15 per couple.  One ID will cover two people.  Sales of coronation tickets will be open to the entire school.  You must have your ID to purchase tickets - maximum of 2 tickets per person.   Tickets are required to watch coronation.

 

 

READ NOW & THEN - Join the nation on Saturday, October 25 in a special day to Make a Difference! Participate in the 7th annual Marshfield Area Make A Difference Day celebration. Come together to rake leaves for those who are unable to do so themselves.  You can make a connection with family, friends, co-workers and neighbors you serve.  Volunteers will gather at the Marshfield Senior Center, 111 S. Maple Ave., at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, October 25 for registration and instructions before being sent on to their volunteer sites.  Call 384-9992 to sign up or pick up registration forms in the office.  Volunteers must provide their own rake, gloves and transportation to and from volunteer sites and back home.
