NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Play tickets will go on sale starting tomorrow.  Tickets are reserved seating for $8.00 each.  The play is The Importance of Being Earnest which will be performed Nov. 8th & 9th at 7:30 PM.

 

All students riding tonight's spectator bus, please be ready by 3:45 pm.  Buses will leave from the high school bus parking lot at 4:00 pm sharp.  You must ride the bus you are assigned to the game and back home after the game.  Make arrangements to be picked up promptly once the bus returns.

 

The following students will be representing Marshfield High School this week as members of the State Honors Bands and Orchestras:  Laura Lake, Seth Berger, Kara Facizewski, Noreen Rashid, Hanna Gilbert, Emily Wolfe, Michael Josephson, Teddy Schenkman, and Hanna Hargis.  These students auditioned and were selected as 9 of the top musicians in the state and will be performing in concerts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Also representing Marshfield is Tim Carroll, who was recognized as an exemplary soloist at the State Solo and Ensemble Festival last May.  Tim was then selected to be one of 10 student soloists to perform in a concert at the State Music Convention this weekend.  Congratulations and good luck to all the musicians, performing in Madison this week.

Meetings, etc.:

TODAYThe girls' basketball pre-season meeting will be held today at 3:10 in room 55.

 

Stage crew will work on stage at 5:00 today and rehearsal for Earnest is at 7:00 tonight for the full cast in room 10-11

 

TOMORROW - Attention FBLA members - if you are still interested in ordering a t-shirt or sweatshirt, please see Miss Goettl in Room 71 by 3:00 tomorrow. 

 

There will be a Mock Trial meeting after school on Wednesday in Room 10 and 11.  Please review your case materials.

 

The pre-season boy's basketball meeting will be held in room 55 tomorrow – sophomores, juniors, and seniors will meet at 7:30 AM and freshmen will meet after school at 3:10

 

There will be a sign-up meeting for all girls interested in playing on the new Marshfield High School Girls Hockey team tomorrow at 3:15 pm in the study hall. If you cannot attend, see Mr. Nicksic in the office.

 

OTHERSThere will be a NHS meeting next Monday after school in the study hall.  Remember to bring a non-perishable food item.  If you have any questions, see Michelle Cancel.

 

The next FBLA meeting will be Tuesday, November 4 after school in Room 71.

 

Attention students who are interested in wrestling this season - there will be an organizational meeting next Tuesday immediately after school in study hall.  Please bring a pen or pencil to this meeting.  If you cannot attend this meeting, contact Coach Lang.

 

The first TEAMS meeting will be help on Thursday, November 6 at 7:15 AM in the Chemistry Room 9. See Mrs. Harrington before this is you can not make the meeting.
