NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Student council will meet period 3 tomorrow.

 

Behind the wheel driving is cancelled today.

 

Madrigal rehearses tonight at 7:00 PM.

 

Will all chemistry students pick up pans from mole day in the chem lab after school.

 

The following need to see Mr. Zopfi before leaving school today – Cody Schmitt, Dylan Boden, Nick McCullough, Joe Baltus, Austin Littman, Jeremy Robinson, Cody Tarnowski, and Justin Sternweis.

 

LOST & found – a pair of earrings was left in the writing lab and may be claimed in the main office.

 

Meetings, etc.:

TODAY – Anyone planning to go out for girls' basketball please sign up in room 55. 

 

Rehearsal for Ernest is at 3:15 for groups A, B and F in room 10-11.  Stage crew is at 7:00 tonight and 5:00 on Friday.  The following are to meet in room 1 after school to discuss important information – Jena Weiler, Candice Todryk, and Emily Carroll.

 

TOMORROW – For those who wish to donate to the student run collections for Mr. Schmitt's family will have the chance to donate the rest of this week during your lunch hour.

 

Attention FBLA members - order forms and money for t-shirts and sweatshirts are DUE.  If you need an order form, please see Miss Goettl in Room 71. 

 

Debate club will meet at 3:15 in room 44.  See Ms. Bonikowske in room 44 with questions.

 

Any boys planning on or interested in playing hockey, please sign up in the office by the end of the week.

 

OTHERS – The girls' basketball pre-season meeting will be held Tuesday, October 28th at 3:10 in room 55.

 

There are a few openings left to register for Xtreme Xploration on November 5th.  Students will depart from MHS at 8:30 AM with arrival at the UW Marshfield Wood County Campus where they will be divided into groups of 25.  Each group will tour Mid-State Technical College and UW Marshfield, listen to a presentation about "Workplace Ethics", and speak with professional from 16 career pathways at the Career Fair.  This event is free and there is a chance to win a Nintendo Wii.  Students will return to MHS by 1:30 PM.  Permission forms are due to Mrs. Wagner in the main office no later than October 27th.

 

OLD NEWS - Join the nation on Saturday, October 25 in a special day to Make a Difference! Participate in the 7th annual Marshfield Area Make A Difference Day celebration. Come together to rake leaves for those who are unable to do so themselves.  You can make a connection with family, friends, co-workers and neighbors you serve.  Volunteers will gather at the Marshfield Senior Center, 111 S. Maple Ave., at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, October 25 for registration and instructions before being sent on to their volunteer sites.  Call 384-9992 to sign up or pick up registration forms in the office.  Volunteers must provide their own rake, gloves and transportation to and from volunteer sites and back home.
