NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Katie Simson please see Senora Maguire in room 46 right after school.

 

The following students please see Mr. Zee at this time – Nick Anderson, Brett Bauer, Dane Felhofer, Josh Lutz, Sully Luepke, Lucius Messerschmidt, Conner Staab, Ryan Vierck, Pat Breu, and Kody Wilson.

 

Juniors & seniors may purchase coronation tickets for $2.00 in the commons during all lunch hours tomorrow.  Maximum 2 tickets per person and ID cards are necessary.  Tickets are required to watch coronation during homecoming.

 

Junior class t-shirts can be picked up and purchased during all lunch hours for the remainder of this week.  Cost is $12.00 and funds will go toward Junior Prom.  T-shirts can also be picked up in room 43 before and after school.

 

There will be a meeting for all those interested in Mock trial on Wednesday after school in room 10-11.  If you are unable to attend, please contact Mrs. Karen Friedrichsen.

 

Attention Science Department Fund raiser participants:  Your orders will be available for pickup on Friday, October 10 after school at the North Commons doors.  Any products not picked up will be returned and all prizes and awards you may have won will be forfeited. 

 

Attention juniors and seniors – the PSAT test will be given Wednesday, October 15^th.  Cost is $13.00.  Sign up in the guidance office.  Make checks out to MHS.  Deadline to sign up is this Friday.

 

Lost & found – a billfold and a ring may be claimed in the office

 

Meetings, etc.:

TODAY – Art club will meet @ Culver's at 3:30 for painting windows – you need to find your own ride there

 

HOSA members should see Ms. Arndt for a leadership team ballot today or tomorrow

 

TOMORROW – An informational meeting for students interested in the 2009 AFS summer abroad program will be from 3:15 – 4:00 in Room 18 tomorrow.  Students interested in applying for the $4000 AFS scholarship are encouraged to attend the meeting with a parent or guardian. 

 

The next rehearsal for the play will be held at 7 PM Tuesday in the orchestra room for the full cast

 

OLD NEWS:

Spirit week is this week – tomorrow is 80's day; Wednesday is twin day; Thursday is animal print day; and Friday is color day.

 

Order forms for pictures at the homecoming dance can be picked up in room 14.  The homecoming dance is this Saturday from 8 PM to midnight.  Admission to the dance is $8 per individual and $15 per couple.  One ID will cover two people.  Coronation will be at 9 PM and tickets are $2 advanced seating.

 

Seniors – applications for the Kohl scholarship are available in guidance
