During last Friday’s homecoming game someone placed a bottle containing chemical agents behind our student section. The bottle eventually exploded. At this time a reward will be offered to individual(s) who provide information that will lead to the identity of the subject(s) responsible. Information can be given to Wood County Crime Stoppers through the Text-a-Tip Line or by contacting Officer Woolworth.
Band members are reminded to take their uniforms home after school today.
Work Permits – Students needing work permits are reminded to pick them up in the office between 7:30-3:00. You need to bring 5 items with you to obtain a work permit. These items are listed on page 23 of your planner. Work permits are NOT issued after school.
Today – New NHS members are reminded they need to have their club dues paid before the meeting today at 1:30 in the study hall in order to be included. Remember to bring a canned food item.
Rehearsal for Arsenic and Old Lace will be for Morgan Peterson, Aislinn Koehler, Joey Saucerman, Joe Dickinson, Joel Hitchcock, Adam Albanito, Jake Kruse, and Nico Bedroske at 7:00 tonight.
Tomorrow – The first meeting of the year for the National Ocean Sciences Bowl team will be after school Thursday in room 36. Ocean Bowl is an academic competition focusing on the varied physical, chemical, and biological aspects of Oceanography with a special emphasis on human environmental impacts. Anyone interested in learning more about Ocean Bowl should attend the Thursday meeting or see Seth Berger or Michael Josephson.
Chess Club will have the first meeting of the year tomorrow at 3:05 in room 18. See Mr. Elmhorst or Nico Bedroske if you are interested in joining and cannot attend.
Friday – All students who participated in the Club’s Choice Science fund raiser, your orders will be available for pickup on Friday after school at the north commons doors. Any products not picked up will be returned and all prizes and awards that may have been won will be forfeited.
HOSA membership closes this Friday so if you have not gotten your dues and membership form turned in to Mrs. Hunsader, do it ASAP or you will not be a member of HOSA this year.
Next Week Monday – The girls’ hockey team will have a brief informational meeting with Coach Sparbel next week Monday at 3:15 in the study hall.
Next Week Tuesday – Dance Team winter season tryouts will be held next week Tuesday at the Madison School gym from 3:30-5:00.
