Lost & Found – A necklace and a sport jacket was found and may be claimed in the office.
Tuesday – Science Olympiad will meet after school from 3-4:00. All chem lab competitors should plan on attending.
There will be an AFS Summer Abroad Scholarship Meeting after school from 3:15 - 4:00. Students interested in spending six weeks next summer in a country of their choice should attend the meeting to learn more about the AFS Summer Abroad Program. See Mr. Elmhorst for more information.
Wednesday – DECA will meet before school tomorrow.
New NHS members are reminded they need to have their club dues paid by Wednesday’s meeting at 1:30 in the study hall in order to be included. Remember to bring a canned food item.
Thursday – The first meeting of the year for the National Ocean Sciences Bowl team will be after school Thursday in room 36. Ocean Bowl is an academic competition focusing on the varied physical, chemical, and biological aspects of oceanography with a special emphasis on human environmental impacts. Anyone interested in learning more about Ocean Bowl should attend the Thursday meeting or see Seth Berger or Michael Josephson.
Friday – All students who participated in the Club’s Choice Science fund raiser, your orders will be available for pickup on Friday after school at the north commons doors. Any products not picked up will be returned and all prizes and awards that may have been won will be forfeited.
HOSA membership closes this Friday so if you have not gotten your dues and membership form turned in to Mrs. Hunsader, do it ASAP or you will not be a member of HOSA this year.
Next Week Monday – The girls’ hockey team will have a brief informational meeting with Coach Sparbel next week Monday at 3:15 in the study hall.
Others – Seniors - the Kohl Excellence scholarship has been added to the counseling department website and is due October 19th.
