NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Students may sign up in the main office today until 3:00 for the bus going to Merrill Friday night. If enough people (at least 25) do not sign up the bus will be cancelled. Cost is $6.00, which is $4.00 for the ticket and $2.00 for the bus. The bus will leave from the circle drive at 5:00 on Friday.
Yesterday 24 MHS students competed as three teams in the JETS-TEAMS competition in Milwaukee. The Varsity team of Max Rupp, Emily Bedroske, Logan Brock, Chris Hastreiter, Ben Radtke, Candice Todryk, Priya Pathak, and Seth Berger took 2nd in our division and 4th overall out of 37 schools. They were the highest scoring Wisconsin school at the contest. The JV team of Ade Dillon, Kelsey Coffren, Dan Kniech, Kristin Kniech, Colin Korlesky, Nathan Korlesky, Josh Shupe, and John Weis were 2nd in their division. Only one point behind was the JV team of Nichant Sharma, Pay Hayes, Alex Jensen, Spenser Borchart, Tapan Sharma, Nathan Freel, Nick Stamas and Parijat Sharma.
Meetings, etc.:
TODAY – there will be a mandatory French honor society meeting at 3:05 in room 47.
Rehearsal for the play will be for group A at 7:30 in room 10-11. Stage crew will work at 6:30.
Tickets will be pre-sold today until 3:00 for the Marshfield vs DC Everest game tomorrow night in Merrill. Cost of all tickets is $4.00. If Marshfield wins tomorrow night, tickets will be sold right after the game for Saturday's game at Wausau West. Tickets will also be sold Saturday morning for $4.00 here in the main office from 9:00-11:00.
TOMORROW – HOSA will meet at 7:15 Friday morning in room 78.
OTHERS – There are volunteer opportunities available Saturday during the solo and ensemble festival at the high school. If anyone is in need of hours and would be interested, please see Mrs. Kramer in the band room.
