NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention all students enrolled in Advanced Placement Classes.  AP registration forms are available this week in the guidance office.  To avoid additional fees, completed forms must be turned in to Mr. Michaelis by March 6. 

 

Summer school forms are now available on a cart outside of the guidance office.

 

Science Olympiad will meet from 6-8 pm on Wednesday. Sign up for pot luck on the door of room 8

Meetings, etc.:

TODAY – Sophomores and juniors are reminded of the Student Parent Information Night that begins at 7 p.m. in the Study Hall tonight.  Plan to attend if you would like to learn from a panel of experts who are enrolled in Health Career Connections, Youth Apprenticeship, Human Services Academy and ACE Academy.  Applications for these programs will be available.  See Mrs. Wagner if you are unable to attend.

 

TOMORROW – there will be an editors meeting for the Profile tomorrow morning at 7:10.  Please come prepared with article ideas.

 

Auditions for the spring musical – The Music Man will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00.  There are roles for 40-50 characters.  Everyone is invited to tryout.  Be prepared to fill out a conflict calendar for February, March and April.  If you cannot audition on Tuesday or Thursday see Mr. Bittrich or Mr. Reierson to arrange an audition.

 

FBLA members who still haven't turned in your permission slips for competition must get them in tomorrow.

 

OTHERS – There will be a NHS meeting Wednesday at 1:35 in the study hall.  Please remember TWO canned food items.

 

Valentine Day cookies are being sold during the lunch hours through the 12^th and will be delivered on the 13^th during 2^nd hour.  Cost is $1.00.

 

 

OLD NEWS:

Students are reminded when you come in late to school, without a note, this tardy must be cleared!  Bring a note the following day or have your parents clear you on the attendance line.  Many of the problems that we have with tardies are because these Period 1 tardies are not cleared.

 

On February 4^th the senior class will have its annual class group photo taken.  Order forms and instructions are available from your 2^nd hour teacher.  Seniors please do not forget that you must bring the order forms and money with you when the senior class photo is photographed.  This will be the only time and place to order.

 

Dr. Jim Wand will perform on Wednesday, February 11^th at 7:30 PM in the auditorium.  Tickets for the general public are $10.00 but you can get yours for $6.00 today in room 67.  Starting Monday tickets will be $7.00 and $8.00 the following week.  Discounted student tickets are limited to the first 200 tickets sold.
