NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention students and staff - Mr. King has decided to close school tomorrow due to extreme temperatures. 

 

Attention seniors – fourteen more scholarships were added to the school district website today.

 

There will be a sign language club meeting on Monday at 3:00 until 4:00 in the auditorium.  Anyone may join to learn sign language.

 

All 2009 male court members are to meet at the Bridal Boutique on Friday at 2:00 for fittings.  Girls do not need to attend.  Also all 2009 court members and parents are to meet in the commons at 7:45 Friday night for the basketball game.  Please let Maggie Kruger know if you cannot attend either of these events.

 

Winter carnival polar days begin tomorrow with dress up day.  Next week - Monday is lounge wear day; Tuesday is argyle day; Wednesday is career day; Thursday is pirate day and Friday is black out day.

 

There will be no life teen program at St. John's tonight.

 

Open gym and swim is cancelled for tonight.

 

LOST & found – a calculator that was left in room 22 may be claimed in the main office.

 

 

 

Meetings, etc.:

TODAY – FCCLA will meet after school.  If you plan on competing at regionals you must attend.

OTHERS – Attention freshmen, sophomores and juniors who have an interest in a career in business - there is a four day summer program called business world that you should consider attending.  For more information see the poster outside of the guidance office.

 

There will be a workday Friday at 11:00 to finish the Profile.  All staff and editors should attend.

 

Attention FFA members attending Bruce Mound on Friday – the bus will leave from the greenhouse parking lot at 4 PM and return at 10:30.  Make sure you have your permission slip handed in to Mr. Zee.  If you plan on renting skis or a snowboard you need to pick up a waiver form from Mr. Zee.

 

 

 

OLD NEWS:

Winter Carnival is Saturday, January 24^th from 8:00 until midnight.  The theme is Yule ball and the colors are light blue, purple, and silver.  The song is Ice, Ice Baby.  Admission will be $8.00 per person, one student ID per couple.  Coronation tickets will be $2.00 per person.  Performers at coronation will be Matt Osowski and Cody Jensen.
