NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The school blood drive will be tomorrow in the auditorium.  Walk-ins are welcome.  Any seniors donating blood 2^nd or 3^rd period should change their appointment time to be able to attend the mandatory senior meeting 3^rd hour.

 

Attention students in grades 10, 11, and 12 – the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery will be given here on December 11^th.  This test is useful for exploring the range of your talents and possible future careers.  There is no fee to take the test and no obligation to join the military.  If you would like to take this test, sign up in guidance.  We will take the first 35 students to sign up.  Deadline to sign up is December 4^th.

 

Attention students who would like to tutor – the parent of an 8^th grade girl is looking for someone to come over and tutor her.  Please see Mrs. Marine today if you are interested in helping out. There is the possibility of being paid for your work.

 

Any available student council members please come to the commons after school to help move chairs and tables for the blood drive.

 

Lost & found – an Ipod was found and may be claimed in the office; also a jacket was left on the youth net bus yesterday and may also be claimed in the office.

Miss Goettl needs to see Jodi Schmidt in Room 71 before leaving school today.

 

The members of the cast and crew of the play who will be returning furniture today are asked to meet in room 1 at 3:10.

 

Meetings, etc.:

TODAY – Ocean Bowlers – attend a meeting after school in room 36

 

TOMORROW – There will be a mandatory meeting tomorrow for all seniors 3rd Hour in the Commons. The representative from Jostens will be here with graduation materials. Seniors will also fill out diploma forms and we will cover some important yearbook information. If you are absent from school you must see Mrs. Patterson in Room 67 on Thursday.

 

Mock trial will meet tomorrow from 3:00 - 4:30 over at the Tiny Tiger classroom.  Bring your materials and be ready to discuss the case.

 

FCCLA and HOSA members are reminded to meet tomorrow night at 6:15 at the Marshfield Public Library for the healthy holiday hike.

 

OTHERS – The organizational meeting for Forensics will take place Thursday at 3:15 in room 44.  See Ms. Bonikowske or Mrs. Gorke if you have questions.

 

Science Olympians who have not picked up a Boyceville Permission Slip should do so. The next SO meeting is Sunday from 12-2.

 

Do you have some talent that you would like to share?  If so, sign up for the talent show.  The show will be held on Thursday, December 18^th at 7:00 in the auditorium.  Sign ups will be held in room 28.  The deadline for sign ups is Wednesday, November 26^th.  A large portion of the proceeds will go to the cystic fibrosis fund.  The show will not go on if there are not enough signed up so please join.

 

OLD NEWS:

A reminder to students - the Youth Net Center is closed to participants but working mentors are to show up this week.  Students may attend Youth Net again beginning Monday, November 24th.
